If there is anyone out there like me finding the perfect vest is a must for enjoying my days in the field. I've had and tried different vests or the years and my two main issues were finding the right combination of clothing to wear underneath and finding one I could easily get the birds into without having feathers in my face from front loading vest. Then Alan showed up at our Hunt Test with his new prom and 5 minutes later I was sold on it and couldn't wait until he got them into production. The vest answered my two issues it's light and breathable so I can layer my clothes without it effecting me and the larger lower openings for the bird pouch made it easy to reach back and drop in birds. Now with these issues out of the way I was able to appreciated the other details as well such as carrying the water bottles for the dogs. The snap open pockets beats putting shells in those tubes some vest have and the spring loaded pockets are perfect when training and wanting to carry a few live quail around with you.
